About Me
Hi I'm Tru, a Chicago-based photographer chasing moments in life with a camera.
Most of what I shoot are candid moments. A small window in time where everything aligned perfectly to create a photo that tells a story.
During the day, I'm an IT Project Manager and Boys Varsity Basketball head coach.
How I got started
I picked up my first camera in 2016. It was a Nikon brand and I couldn't tell you which model it was. All I did was take a single photo of a flower that I thought had some cool colors to it. That's it.
Now, you can find me in Chicago, randomly shooting whatever lights a spark in my soul. I travel as well for events and random trips.
What's in my bag
I shoot with a Sony Alpha A7 III, aTamron 35-150mm f/2 - 2.8 zoom lens and a Sony 100-400mm f/4.5 - 5.6 zoom lens. I also use a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone for any aerial shots or footage.
